Random Ridiculous Realization:

In my head, Dazzler is played by Jennifer Garner.

I don't know why this is as they don't look very much alike.

I think it's probably the wig thing.

And way too much watching of Alias late at night.

That is all.

Here's hoping "Dazzler" is far down the list of Marvel's movie adaptations. Also, considering how both the "Daredevil" and "Elektra" movies went over with such a THUD, I'm guessing the being known as "Bennifer" isn't too anxious to star in another superhero movie.

I wish Marvel would quit messing around with second stringers like Ghost Rider and get their biggest stars to the screen, such as Captain America (set in WWII) and Thor (think Lord of the Rings with Kirby fashion designs...and lots of lightning).

Mark: Agreed on Elektra but so NOT on DD & 'rider. Besides I dont think Kalinara would liike this thread to degenerate into Marvels movie production schedule flaming. I DO fear the ire of kalinara especially in person;)

personally and beside the point I want the kinks worked out before they touch those Icons again god save us from another X3 Shiver.

I so agree w/ you kalinara on Dazzler being a fan of ALIAS myself and even more after seeing the Dazzler pic in B/C week. you've given me a very vivid bizzare and cool image in my head. Thanks!;)

I would friggin' LOVE to see Dazzler in a movie adaptaion. But, I think I see Ali Larter (from Heroes) more in that role. But, before a Dazzler movie, I'd love to see a Cloak and Dagger movie. And, if the plans announced last year are correct, I may get my wish!

PS - After much lengthy election campaigning, I'm back!

Funny, since during the Springer/Coletta run she looked like a Varga girl, but when Chadwick started drawing the book she looked a lot more slender.

That's so funny...my first thought was Ali Larter, too.

But maybe, just maybe, this is the comeback vehicle Alicia Silverstone needs. Probably not, but wouldn't it be pretty to think so?

(shudders at mere inkling of Batman& Robin)
ron please do not mention such an unholy thing again please:)

y'all could be right about Larter though I think she'd be to thin. Besides I want more Heroes!;) But I digress:)

You know, they already did make a Captain America film back in the 80s. It was horrible. With that history I think waiting to get things right is probably a good idea.

I wouldn't knock the second string chracters too hard either. Blade and Blade II were pretty good.

There was a pretty good profile of Anna Faris in the Sunday New York Times this weekend, and I found myself thinking, well, heck, THAT would be one way to go with a Dazzler movie...

I suspect I will be smote for the suggestion - and understand I do not advocate this - but given that Dazzler is supposed to be a singer...

I just had nightmarish vision of someone making this into the vehicle for a newly single Britney Spears.

It could be worse though. Since in her Ultimate incarnation she's a punk singer... I can see some executive trying to split the difference between old appearance and the new thing and trying to get Avril Lavinge (or however you spell it) to start her acting career.
