Random Ridiculous Realization #3,600,042, or something like that...

I was having an AIM conversation and the following topic came up in conversation:

It'd be really amusing to have crossover in which Guy Gardner gets assimilated by the Borg.

Just because between Guy's personality and the Borg hive-mind...one of them has to give, and honestly, I'm thinking it'd be the hive-mind.

Imagine a Borg Cube occupied entirely by a hivemind of Guy Gardner. They'd be unstoppably obnoxious. At least until someone like Ted Kord uploads some computer virus into them.

Of course that brings to mind the sheer ridiculous of a Gardnerized Locutus of Borg or Seven of Nine.

All I know is that there would be a lot of loud-mouthed taunts and ass-kicking. En Masse.

That's the most beautiful thing I've read in ages.

Of course, Guy's obnoxious individualism could end up with an effect sort of like Hugh, except with more mooning. That would be interesting.

Wow, I pop over here for the first time and the two most recent posts are about a Guy Gardner/Borg crossover and the woeful lack of depth or explanation given to a Trek race that had a lot of potential as villains. For one horrifying moment I thought that my modem had somehow contaced the internet of Counter-Earth and I had discovered my equivalent. Fortunately, on this first page is also a piece about Superman, whom I know very little about. Phew! My nightmare of doppelgangers and all the problems they can cause is at an end.

Erm, anyway, as I said I've just discovered this blog and in the space of 5 posts you have annoyingly managed to be highly entertaining. Good for you perhaps but now my Sunday afternoon plans have been thrown out of the window as I have to work my way through your archive to further my quest of finding and reading things on the internet that are actually, y'know, good. Damn my obligation to read the entireity of well-written, entertaining and though provoking blogs. I was going to go the pub this afternoon, but oh no, you had to go and be good to read. So if you start to wonder where the hits on all the previous pages are coming from, that'd be me.

Keep up the good work anyway, but you are so taking the blame when I get a phone call at half five from my mates asking me why I'm not in the pub.

"Blame Kalinara!" That's what I'll say, "It's not my fault, she made me read!"

    Yeah.

Leave it to Ted Kord to pull off some wacky ID4 ripoff while the Gardborgs rile up the federation into attacking them.

Of course, the Borg would eventually come to realize that trying to assimilate Guy Gardner is futile...and self-destruct.

Guy would then go and brag about it to Hal.
