New Dresden Poster!

Oooo, check out the new Dresden Files poster available:

So, so pretty...

On a tangential note, it's occurred to me that I really wish someone would do an adaptation of Lois McMaster Bujold's Vorkosigan saga. Mostly because I think it'd be cool and I <3 the series muchly. But also because I still have the damnedest time trying to figure out what Quaddies actually look like and I'd really like some talented artist to figure that out for me. :-)

But anyway, I kind of want that poster. :-)

I like the vamp and the pocket full of sun spell. Not so sure about Harry. His face just looks...bland? Flat? Something. Still at least he's not an albino like most of the cast of the Anita Blake comic...

I have NO idea what is going on here, but it looks like a pretty poor ending to a date.

Love this! I'm on book five of the series right now.

And Harry looks about right, if his face does look a little bland. The artist was probably trying to go for his serious, pissed-off expression and didn't quite get there.

The woman has to be Bianca, a vampire madam, and this is probably from a scene early in the firstbook when Harry forces her to reveal her true form. Very creepy scene.

I love the Vokosigan saga books, too.

One of the copies of Falling Free that I have, has an illustration of quaddies on it. I'll try to scan it for you.

Ooo, I'd love to see it. My copy has a Quaddie on the cover, but mostly obscured by the title. :-)

There is a French adaptation of one of the Vorkosigan books. The first Miles book, I think.
