Superheroine Barbie Dolls

I'm not actually much of a doll person, but looking at the 2008 black label Barbie dolls,

I particularly like the Black Canary one. The level of detail is very nice. I also like the Batgirl one. I'm not as impressed with the Wonder Woman's cape, but I do think the dolls are exquisite.

So pretty!

Ooh ooh, pretty! I like the Black Canary the best, I think.

I'd still like Fire and Ice dolls though.

On that same page: The Rizzo doll from their Grease line. Omigosh!

Oh, Pete will kill me if I start collecting Barbies...

They do look really nice. You're right, the level of detail is impressive. Although I did get a tiny bit of angry annoyance when I saw that it was old Batgirl but new Supergirl. Pick one era or the other I say. >:l

Mostly I just thought it'd be cool to see a Cass Barbie.

What- why do Black Canary's yellow-buckled stompyboots have *heels* on them? That's missing the whole damn *point*.

Hmm.. Ahayweh is right.. I didn't even notice those heels. At most she should maybe have a block heel on those boots :o

I didn't notice the heels at first, either. However they do remind me of a scene from JLA: Year One: Flash comments to Black Canary "aren't heels an impractical part of a battle costume?"

Canary grabs the wings on his mask, twists it around to cover his eyes up, and merrily walks away.

Is that Linda Carter's cape on Wonder Woman?

I paged through the rest of them, and can we have more Beatnik Barbies in the DC Universe please?
